Cornwall Underground celebrates 13 years plus remembering Jack Layton!


The Cornwall Underground celebrates 13 years this month! This week the Cornwall Underground celebrates it's 13th anniversary online! It has been hosted on several different websites including Geocities, Myspace, a Facebook page, a Twitter account, and its current home on Google's Blogspot! In other news, remembering Jack Layton! It was about a year ago Jack Layton wrote these rememberable words: "My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world". Jack Layton who brought the NDP to the status of official opposition passed away last year from cancer. He had visited Cornwall on several occasions, the first time was at the very first Rock the Vote in 2003, he was the keynote guest speaker. In the photo above is Jack Layton with Jason Setnyk.
