In one year on Blogspot the Cornwall Underground has published over 80 stories, over 200 event listings, and has had over 8000 hits. Thank you everyone who visits my blog! The purpose of this blog is to promote music, arts, and culture in Cornwall Ontario and the surrounding areas. To celebrate one year here the Cornwall Underground has a brand new look, logo, and new page sections including events, photos, musicians, arts and culture, community, and contact.
The Cornwall Underground has been serving the local music community since August of 1999. This website was originally on Geocities, than on Myspace, and now on Blogspot. You can also find a Cornwall Underground group on Facebook. This blog is run by music promoter and photographer Jason Setnyk who also organizes local Rock for Charity and Rock the Vote events, and he has booked live music for Cornwall's Winterfest, Waterfest, the Cornwall Farmers Market, the Poverty Free Ontario rally, and various other events.
The Cornwall Underground is not just a website, Jason Setnyk is a music promoter, takes photographs and videos, and has put together four compilation CDs of local music. The Cornwall Underground also had a short lived online radio show.
