Cornwall Youth Advisory Committee hosting free teen concert on June 2nd

The City of Cornwall’s Youth Advisory Committee (CYAC), spearheaded by Councillor Maurice Dupelle, is hosting a free teen concert featuring the band Administrator on Saturday, June 2, 2012, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Benson Centre, 800 Seventh Street West, Cornwall, Ontario.

There is no cost to access this event and the canteen will be open and offering its regular menu with its usual prices. All youth are welcome to attend.

The CYAC serves the population of Cornwall by empowering youth to make a difference in the lives of others.

In working together with City Council, and through fostering partnerships with the Cornwall Community Police Service and with youth organizations, the Committee is dedicated to providing youth with a forum to contribute to the development of solutions to make Cornwall a more youth-friendly community.

Also checkout 17 bands including Administrator and Graham Greer on Saturday June 16th at the Church on Sydney for this years Rock the Vote. Guest speakers include MPP Jim McDonell and Chair of Cornwall's Youth Advisory Committee Rose McGill.
