Cornwall - July 13, 2012 - Toronto based alternative rock band Sloan co-headlined the opening night of Kinsmen Lift-Off 2012 along with Big Wreck in Corwnall Ontario on Thursday.
Sloan whom have been represented by the likes of Sony and Geffern Music have enjoyed over twenty years of success as a band. Sloan's latest studio release was "The Double Cross" which came out in 2011.
The thousands who were in attendance Thursday night enjoyed terrific rock music, the sight of hot air balloons in the sky, and a colourful carnival. The Lift-Off festival continues on Friday July 13th with Burton Cummings, formerly of the Guess Who, headlining night two at Lamoureux Park.
